Don’t miss the chance to tell PWCS what you think!
How do you rate your child’s school and the education programs in our county? The Prince William County School Board wants to know. All parents or guardians of students enrolled in Prince William County Public Schools were mailed a survey in English or Spanish on January 13 to measure parent satisfaction and determine how well the School Division is meeting the instructional needs of students.
The February 3 deadline for returning the survey is approaching fast. Don’t miss this opportunity.
Parents with children enrolled in more than one school, received a survey for each school.
Parents of PWCS students who did not receive a survey or misplaced the one that was mailed, can contact the Office of Program Evaluation at 703.791.7277 for a replacement.

We will be holding another parent forum at Nokesville Elementary on February 9th at 1:00pm in the auditorium. Mrs. Lanham, our professional school counselor, will join me for a discussion on the topic of bullying in schools. Prince William County Bus Procedures:
1. Obey the driver’s instructions.
2. Be seated immediately and remain there.
3. Share seats equally.
4. Be courteous, respect property.
5. Stay inside the bus, keep the aisles clear.
6. Leave bus equipment alone.
7. Observe good conduct.
8. Not permitted: smoking ; profanity; loud noise; fighting; horseplay; eating; drinking; trash; vandalism; weapons; or threats.
9. Obtain permission from driver before using cellular phones.
10. The driver is required to report violators.
New Parent Portal Feature -- If You Forgot Your Password
The Parent Portal was improved to allow parents and students who cannot remember their password to click "Forgot your password?" to have it easily reset. The system will email parents/students a temporary password which can be used to access the system. If you forgot your password for your school Web site, go to the Parent Portal and follow the instructions above. The password for your school Web site is the same as the Parent Portal and must be changed within the Parent Portal. Information about additional changes and FAQs about the Parent Portal can be found on the PWCS Web site by selecting “Parents – Parent Portal FAQs” on the left side tab.
