MORNING ARRIVAL

Nokesville Elementary School opens its doors to children at 8:50AM each morning.  The tardy bell rings at 9:00AM.  Once it has rung students must report to the office to acquire a late pass, which they will give to their teacher.

Drop-off students may be dropped off but will not be allowed to enter the classrooms until 8:50AM.

Bus students will be held on the bus until 8:50AM when the bell rings.  The exception to this is patrols - any morning fifth grade patrols will be dismissed from their bus when their bus arrives in order to prepare for their job.


AFTERNOON DISMISSAL

Mr. McDaniel begins afternoon announcements at approximately 3:30 each afternoon.  At this point children who are parent-pick-ups are dismissed to the cafeteria where they need to be signed out and fifth grade patrols are dismissed for their afternoon positions.

Once all buses have arrived the students are dismissed, beginning with fifth grade and kindergarten, then continuing with the other grade levels. 

All buses pull out at approximately 3:45PM.

TWO HOUR DELAY

The same morning arrival schedule is in place, except the doors open at 11:00AM, with the tardy bell ringing at 11:10AM.

Drop-off students may be dropped off beginning at 10:50AM.
