District - these will be announced on local news television networks, radio stations, and the PWCS website

School - these will be announced on local news television networks, radio stations, the PWCS website, the Nokesville ES website at the top of each page, and a phone chain will go out to each child's home

EMERGENCIES:

District - these will be announced on the PWCS website and sent to those who subscribe to e-mail and phone alerts via text messaging

School - these will be announced on the NES website at the top of each page and a phone chain will go out to each child's home

Parents and students are requested not to call schools, school officials, or radio and television stations to find out if schools are being closed. It is essential that these telephone lines be kept open to enable schools and stations to receive notification about school closings.
